It's time to reflect on all that's happened this year and look forward to what's ahead in 2017. The Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on December 4. The meeting starts at 7:00 am. A free breakfast will be served to all Members in attendance. There will be a lot to discuss and vote on so please attend. The meeting agenda is as follows:

Beat the Board Tournament
- The Beat the Board Tournament will be played immediately following the AGM (8:30 am). The format is a 4-man scramble and the board will field two teams. Members may create their own teams and will be randomly selected to play against one of the board teams. Any team that beats the board will place. The board teams have to beat at least half of the teams in their flight to place. Entry into the tournament is free! An optional team skins game will be played for $10.
- The year to date payouts have been updated. Click here to view the complete list.
- If you haven't renewed your membership, please do so before the end of the year. Membership dues can be mailed to the Club Secretary, Glenn Young, given to Glenn on a tournament day or paid online. A discount of $3 will be offered to all Members that renew their membership online. To renew online, click here and enter the promo code "ONLINE" at checkout to receive the discount.
- The annual Spoto/Ebert Tournament has been booked. We're headed back to where it all started in Mesquite, NV. Click here for the trip details and to download a flyer.
- The Board has made a decision that all payouts will be given directly to the Member who won said payout. No other Member may accept any payout to give to the absence Member who won the payout. Tournament Chairman, Doug Owens, will hold all payouts for distribution to Members who aren't present to accept their payout during the next scheduled tournament. There will be no exceptions to this rule.
- The Tournament Committee has had a few incidents recently where Members were disqualified from a tournament for turning in an incorrect scorecard. USGA Rule 6-6b Signing and Returning Score Cardstates the following, "After completion of the round, the competitor should check his score for each hole and settle any doubtful points with the Committee. He must ensure that the marker or markers have signed the score card, sign the score card himself and return it to the Committee as soon as possible. Penalty for Breach of Rule 6-6b: Disqualification. If there is any question about a Member violating a rule that is not resolved by the group at the time of the violation, please bring it to the attention of the Tournament Committee prior to signing and submitting the scorecard. The scorecard may be amended so applicable penalty strokes can be assessed, if necessary, instead of the Member being disqualified from the tournament. Once the scorecard is signed and returned to the Tournament Committee it cannot be altered or modified. If a Member is unsure of the application of a rule, he may proceed under USGA Rule 3-3a, complete the hole playing two balls, and then present the situation to the Tournament Committee who will make the final ruling.
