  • The President's Cup matches concluded at the beginning of May.  Mauri Kaariainen won the championship match over Dave Byard.  Congratulations to Mauri!

  • The Club Championship will be held on June 11 & 12.  This is the second of the three annual majors sponsored by the Men's Club.  This is a two day aggregate score tournament played from the blue tees and is flighted.  There are three flights (Championship, First, and Second) and all members participating will be assigned to their flight based on their current handicap index as of 6/1/17.  Regardless of flight, any member is eligible to win the Club Championship.  Eligible members must have played in at least two Club tournaments in 2017 in order to be eligible to participate in the Club Championship.  There will be shotgun starts both days. Saturday pairings will be assigned by flight and handicap index.  Sunday pairings will be assigned by flight and order of finish on Saturday.  An optional skins game (gross and net skins) will be played for $20.

  • Are you curious about how Member dues are spent?  Would you like to review Board decisions that affect tournaments?  All financials and Board meeting minutes are archived on the Club website.  Click here to view minutes and financial reports.

  • Calimesa Country Club is our course.  As much as we golf as we play, it's very important that we take care of the course.  The new Partners are focused on improving the condition of the course and it's showing.  Please be diligent in repairing your divots and ball marks as well as those not fixed by other golfers.

  • There was an article published in the Press Enterprise about golf courses in the Inland Empire.  I thought it was interesting and a reality check about the future of golf in our area.  The Men's Club will continue to support Calimesa Country Club to ensure it's continued operation into the future.  Click here to read the article.

  • Due to circumstances beyond our control, the Saturday tournament scheduled for May 14 was rescheduled to May 15.  The Tournament Committee will schedule a Saturday tournament later in 2016.

  • The Tournament Committee has been focusing on checking in all Members as early as possible so that everyone can get to their hole assignments prior to 8:00 am.  To accomplish this, all Members must check in prior to 7:30 am.  Tournament announcements will be made at 7:45 am in front of the pro shop so Members can be at their assigned hole by 7:55 ready to tee off at 8:00 am.  Please show up early!

  • The annual Spoto/Ebert Invitational golf trip is in the books.  Dale Andrews and his partner Dave Vasquez had a dominating performance.  No back to back wins for Solano and Rodriguez.  Click here to see the complete tournament results.
