The Club Championship will be held on June 10 & 11 at Calimesa Country Club. This is the second of the three annual majors sponsored by the Men's Club. This is a two day aggregate score tournament played from the blue tees and is flighted. There are three flights (Championship, First, and Second) and all members participating will be assigned to their flight based on their current handicap index as of 6/1/17. Regardless of flight, any member is eligible to win the Club Championship. Eligible members must have played in at least two Club tournaments in 2017 in order to be eligible to participate in the Club Championship. There will be shotgun starts both days. Saturday pairings will be assigned by flight and handicap index. Sunday pairings will be assigned by flight and order of finish on Saturday. An optional skins game (gross and net) will be played for $20.
Just a reminder to keep carts on the cart paths as much as possible. Please don't park carts in front of, behind or near the greens. Keeping carts on the cart paths will help reduce damage done to the course.

The Men's Club has made a commitment to provide Calimesa Country Club and Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon a list of Members playing in a tournament on Wednesday before play on Sunday. That means the Tournament Committee needs Members to register for tournaments on or before Wednesday. A phone call, email, text, registering on the website or sign up sheet at Calimesa Country Club is all it takes. The Tournament Chairman can accommodate everyone's requests for pairings, guest players, hole assignments, etc. when Members register in advance. When Members register on Saturday night, there are no guarantees on any requests. Members also need to notify the Tournament Chairman when registered and have to cancel. When Members are registered, the Tournament Chairman assumes they're showing up. When Members don't cancel or fail to show up, pairings and hole assignments have to be adjusted just minutes before the start of the tournament. This makes a difficult job even harder. Please make it a best practice to notify the Tournament Chairman when something change.
The year to date payouts have been updated through the tournament played on 5/7/17. Click here to see who the leading money winners are.
