The 2023 Club Championship was played on July 29 & 30 at Oak Valley Golf Club and Soboba Springs Golf Club. Rafael Morales shot 70 on day 1 leading to a nine stroke advantage over the next Member. Rafael followed up with a 74 on day 2, extending his lead to 15 shots, to successfully defend his Club Championship title. Congratulations Rafael on a dominating performance. Doug Solano's impressive 7 stroke came from behind victory to win by four shots over Mike Garduno lead to him defending his 2022 First Flight Club Championship. Brian Amador held off Ryan Kilday to capture the Second Flight Club Championship by three strokes. This is Brian's second Second Flight Club Championship (2019). The third and final major of 2023 is coming up in September. The Senior/Super Senior Club Championship will be held on September 23 & 24 at Seven Hills Golf Club and Hemet Golf Club. This is a two day aggregate net score tournament and is flighted. There are two flights (Senior and Super Senior) and all members participating will be assigned to their flight based on their age as of 9/22/23. The Senior Flight includes members 50 - 59 years old and the Super Senior Flight is for members 60 years old and older. All members that fall within the age ranges are eligible to participate. There will be a shotgun start on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday pairings will be assigned by flight and handicap index. Sunday pairings will be assigned by flight and order of finish on Saturday. An optional skins game (gross and net skins) will be played for $20. Junior members (18 - 49) are welcome to play in the skins game on Saturday or Sunday.
