NEWS - September/October 2024
- The 2024 Club Championship was played on July 27 & 28 at Sevens Hiils Golf Club and Soboba Springs Golf Club. Justin Mallinckrdot shot 74 on day 1 leading to a three stroke advantage over defending champion Rafael Morales. Justin followed up with a 75 on day 2, extending his lead to 8 shots to win his the Club Championship. Congratulations Justin on an impressive performance. Mike Garduno had a one shot lead over Bruce Torola and Simi Ugapo after day 1. Mike increased his lead on day 2 after shooting an 83 for a two day total of 167 to win by 5 shots to capture the First Flight Club Championship. After being behind by 2 strokes after day 1, David Cole shot the Second Flight low round of the to win the Second Flight Club Championship. Congratulations to all our Champions! - The third and final major of 2024 is coming up in September. The Senior/Super Senior Club Championship will be held on September 21 & 22 at Soboba Springs Golf Club. This is a two day aggregate net score tournament and is flighted. There are two flights (Senior and Super Senior) and all members participating will be assigned to their flight based on their age as of 9/20/24. The Senior Flight includes members 50 - 59 years old and the Super Senior Flight is for members 60 years old and older. All members that fall within the age ranges are eligible to participate. There will be a shotgun start on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday pairings will be assigned by flight and handicap index. Sunday pairings will be assigned by flight and order of finish on Saturday. An optional skins game (gross and net skins) will be played for $20. Junior members (18 - 49) are welcome to play in the skins game on Saturday or Sunday.
